7.  Hip flexor stretch

The hip flexor muscles

The hip flexor muscles play an important role in joining the legs to the pelvis and the lower spine. Attached to the femur, the hip flexors attach to the back of the pelvis and the first few vertebrae.

The hip flexors are responsible for lifting the upper leg.

To loosen the hip flexors, start by resting on one knee with the other foot well forward, pelvis tilted forward and back straight. Stretch forward and take the leading knee out over the front foot.

Regards and best wishes
