Stand Up While You Work

No one ever said you had to sit down all day. In fact as to the effect that sitting down has on you, 'they' say that sitting is the new smoking.

Get yourself a box that you can stick on your desk to put your keyboard and mouse on.

(If you're employer is affluent enough, get them to wheel in a stand up or adjustable desk.)

Tilt your screen up a bit and away you go.

The more you can stand up to work the less chance there is that calf, hamstring and buttock muscles will shorten, pulling your pelvis back and turning the 'S' shaped curve of the spine into a 'C' shape.

When it comes to back pain, you are the master of your fate.

Spend some of your day

working standing up.

Regards and best wishes
