Set your chair and desk up so you sit up
straight, back of the chair upright and pushing in up
underneath your shoulder blades and your abdomen pressing in
to the desk.
You're locked in.
If you don't get the chair and the desk
working on your behalf, you slouch, your pelvis tilts back,
the 'S' shaped curve of your back becomes a 'C' shape. You
end up with lower back, upper back, neck and shoulder pain.
Just thinking about sitting up straight isn't
enough because as soon as you start concentrating on your
work you forget to sit up straight and you fall back into
the slump dog position. |
I'm most grateful to the person who attended
one of my seminars and followed up by sending me this
cartoon drawn by one of their children. |
