For a long time whenever Australians have met, they've been asking each other 'ow-y-garn'. One word. The most frequent response is 'not-bad '. Can you think of two more negative words, 'not' and 'bad' to describe how you feel?

The 100 point 'How are you going' scale will enable you to give a more precise answer to the question.

The scale goes from zero (dreadful) through to 100 (absolutely fantastic). Your can score any number from 0 to 100.

Our objective is to have tens of thousands of Australians record their daily score and have the results reported at the end of the nightly news. We believe it will also be useful for corporate organisations to get a picture of how their staff are going - and health and workers compensation insurers.

Initially we're going to ask people to register with:

a single user name (ideally something original - a nickname ...)

  an email address.

THE SYSTEM

Here's what the 'How are you going' scoring system looks like:

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS

1.  Once you've registered, every Monday you'll receive an email asking

     you to:

2.  You'll be taken to a page where you can insert

your 'How are you going' number.

3.  You'll then be asked to submit the number,

together with gender, age group and state.

4.  ... and that's it until next week when you'll receive an email with the

average score from last week and the invitation to insert this week's

     number.

In the meantime stay tuned highly tuned and remember it's a big ask expecting to stay healthy without keeping yourself fit.
